            where I've been

Education:  B.A. from the College of William and Mary 1984

Work History:

1988-present:  Have my own pottery studio (currently Covington Clay), teach pottery and sell my own ceramic work.

April 2002 - present:  Conduct artist-in-residence programs at elementary and middle schools.

Spring 2000 - May 2005:  Adjunct professor of ceramics at Northampton Community College (11 sections of beginning ceramics and 7 sections of advanced ceramics.

January 1999 - July 1999:  Taught various non-credit pottery classes at Northampton Community College.

As a potter:  I have shown my work extensively at craft shows on the east coast, including, but not limited to:  Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Boston Fine Arts Festival and Piccolo Spoleto Festival.

Although most of my current time is spent teaching pottery classes at Covington Clay, sometimes I am able to break free and get back to my roots.  Most of my work is functional, both hand-built and wheel-thrown.

Much of my current work involves a third firing to set a decal transfer into the glaze.

Indigenous Craft gallery in Walnut Hills carries any work that I may have available.

Look mom, I made you a mug just like the ones at TJ Maxx
